[SHICKEN] Madras 350g [vegan] - Hot
A really interesting fact about the chicken madras curry is that the origins of this dish are from the previously named Indian city, Madras, which has been renamed to Chennai.
But just like the Tikka Masala we have a difference of opinion of where this dish actually originated from. Although some claim Chennai (formerly Madras) the curry house owners across the UK who opened their curry houses in the 1960's will strongyle disagree.
Regardless of its origins the Madras curry has become very popular within curry houses across the UK. The combination of toasted spices ground into a powder combined with Kashmiri red chillies and curry leaves, really delivers a heat and spice combination.

Ingredients: Shicken Pieces (Textured Soya Fibre, Isolated Soya Powder, Water, Soya bean oil, Corn Starch) (20%), Madras Sauce & Marinade, Tomato Paste, Fresh Tomato, Onion, Dried Coconut, Garlic, Ginger, Salt, Green Chilli, Kashmiri Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Mustard Seeds, Coriander Powder, Cumin Powder, Fennel Powder, Black Pepper, Melon Seeds, Curry Leaves.

Pan Cook From Chilled: Pre-heat a frying pan on a medium heat. Remove the card sleeve, unclip the lid and pour the meal into the pan, add 1-2 tablespoons of water, heat until piping hot.
Microwave Cook: Remove the card sleeve, unclip the lid and use as cover, place the tray with the lid in the microwave. Cook from chilled for 4 mins on 800W, remove lid and stir the contents, half way through until piping hot. Leave to stand for 1 min before enjoying. Cook from frozen for 4 mins on 800W, remove lid and stir the contents, replace lid and heat for a further 3 mins until piping hot. Leave to stand for 1 min before enjoying!
Oven Cook: Preheat oven. Remove the card sleeve and lid, place the tray on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven. Stir halfway through. Re-cover and continue cooking. Oven cook from chilled. 190°C. Fan 170°C. Gas 5. 25 mins. From frozen. 190°C. Fan 170°C. Gas 5. 40 mins.
