Nobody Truly knows where the famous chicken tikka masala dish originated from. Some argue that it originated from the 5 star hotels in Mumbai and Delhi, where as others argue that the origins of this dish truly lie in the famous curry houses in the curry mile streets of Birmingham and Glasgow. I don't think we will ever discover the real truth.

Our [SHICKEN] vegan chicken tikka masala is made with love and passion, our chefs have worked extremely hard to use vegan equivalent ingredients that would normally be used in a traditional chicken tikka masala.

Our chefs started by marinating our SHICKEN pieces in a vegan yogurt and tikka spice mix marinade, this is left for several hours in the chiller so the SHICKEN pieces are completely coated by the marinade. The pieces are then smothered with our creamy rich Tikka Masala curry sauce and finally packed into bio packaging.



Ingredients: Tikka Masala Sauce & Marinade [onion, Water, Ground Melon Seeds, Tomato Paste, Refined Sunflower Oil, Bell Pepper, Garlic, Ginger, Salt, Ground Spices (Paprika, Turmeric, Fenugreek Leaves, Black Cardamom, Cumin Seeds, Coriander Seeds), Tamarind, Coriander Leaves], Shicken® Pieces [water, Textured Soya Protein, Wheat Protein, Pea Fibre, Pea Starch, Rapeseed Oil, Natural Flavourings, Thickeners (Methyl Cellulose, Konjac Gum), Salt].

Cooking Instructions

Pan Cook From Chilled: Pre-heat frying pan on a medium heat. Remove all packaging and empty contents into the frying pan. Add 1-2 tbsp of water (15ml-30ml). Heat gently over a medium heat for 12 mins, stirring frequently until throughly heated. Serve immediately.

Microwave Cook: Remove the card sleeve and pierce film in several places. Place directly into the microwave. Heat on FULL POWER. Halfway through the cook time peel back the film and add 2tbsp (30ml) of water, stir well and re-cover. Heat on FULL POWER for the remaining time. Allow to stand for Imin, stir before serving. From FROZEN total cook time: 800W or 900W 8mins, From CHILLED total cook time: 800W or 900W 5mins.

Oven Cook: Preheat oven to 190°C, Gas 5, Fan 170°C. Remove the card sleeve and pierce film in several places, place the tray on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven. Stir halfway through. Re-cover and continue cooking. Oven cook from FROZEN. 190A°C. Fan 170°C. Gas 5. 40 mins. from CHILLED. 190°C. Fan 170°C. Gas 5. 25 mins.
