The origins of the Rogan Josh curry truly lie in Kashmir where it is a staple Kashmiri cuisine locally known as Rogan Ghosht as this curry traditionally is made with red meat, either Lamb or Goat.
The name of Rogan Josh originates from the Urdu language which roughly translates to "red meat". This dish is traditional made in a curry sauce that is infused with garlic, ginger and aromatic spices and paprika or Kashmiri red chillies with the seeds removed.
As always, the SHICKEN chefs have worked their magic and recreated this popular North Indian dish with our unique SHICKEN pieces which are marinated in a garlic, ginger and turmeric marinade and cooked slowly in our Rogan Josh curry sauce.

Ingredients
Ingredients: Rogan Josh Sauce [Tomato Paste, Fresh Tomato, Onion, Garlic, Ginger, Salt, Green Chilli, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Cumin Powder, Fennel Powder, Black Pepper]. Shicken® Pieces [Water, Textured Pea Protein, Pea Fibre, Pea Starch, Sunflower Oil, Natural Flavourings, Thickeners (Methyl Cellulose), Salt].

Cooking Instructions
Pan Cook From Chilled: Pre-heat frying pan on a medium heat. Remove all packaging and empty contents into the frying pan. Add 1-2 tbsp of water (15ml-30ml). Heat gently over a medium heat for 12 mins, stirring frequently until throughly heated. Serve immediately.
Microwave Cook: Remove the card sleeve and pierce film in several places. Place directly into the microwave. Heat on FULL POWER. Halfway through the cook time peel back the film and add 2tbsp (30ml) of water, stir well and re-cover. Heat on FULL POWER for the remaining time. Allow to stand for 1min, stir before serving. From FROZEN total cook time: 800W or 900W 8mins, From CHILLED total cook time: 800W or 900W 5mins.
Oven Cook: Preheat oven to 190°C, Gas 5, Fan 170°C. Remove the card sleeve and pierce film in several places, place the tray on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven. Stir halfway through. Re-cover and continue cooking. Oven cook from FROZEN. 190°C. Fan 170°C. Gas 5. 40 mins. from CHILLED. 190°C. Fan 170°C. Gas 5. 25 mins.
